<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new flavin reductase having high thermal stability, and a DNA encoding the same. <P>SOLUTION: The flavin reductase uses NADH as electron donor and FMN (flavin mononucleotide) as electron acceptor as substrates, respectively, exhibits an action for producing NAD+ (nicotinamide adeniue dinuclcotide +) and FMNF2, has the optimal temperature of the reaction in a range of 65 to 75°C, and holds ≥80% of the activity even when left at pH 7 at a temperature of ≤70°C for 30 min. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
