<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance and exit management system and device, capable of easily and certainly authenticating an entrance/exit person, forbidding entrance into a small section except a target small section by the entrance/exit person even after entrance into a large section, and grasping a whereabouts of the entrance/exit person. <P>SOLUTION: This entrance and exit management system has the entrance and exit management device provided in the large section including the plurality of small sections, an access controller provided in each of the plurality of small sections, an authentication device executing at least the entrance authentication into each the small section, and a portable communication terminal held by a person who wish to move in the large section. Only when the entrance authentication is started from the entrance and exit controller provided in the small section set as entrance permission by the entrance and exit management device on the basis of identification information of the portable communication terminal when the entrance authentication is started from one of the entrance and exit controllers, the authentication device sends an authentication result of the access permission back to the entrance and exit controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
