PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation method of whipped cream for a cup type vending machine capable of preparing finely-foamed whipped cream by using a cup of the cup type vending machine, and to provide a preparation method of coffee. SOLUTION: This preparation method of whipped cream for a cup type drink vending machine is characterized by that cream powder and hot water are supplied to a cup used for the cup type drink vending machine; the cream powder is agitated; the agitation is stopped for a predetermined time; and thereafter the cream powder is further agitated.
