<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a risk more practically in facility maintenance cost evaluation, thereby permitting the evaluation of a maintenance system. <P>SOLUTION: A facility maintenance cost evaluation device 1 has an information collection means 2 and a risk evaluation means 3. The information collection means 2 collects data necessary for calculating the risk and cost of the maintenance system. The necessary data includes, for instance, a failure rate indicating the frequency of failure occurrence by site when the maintenance system is applied, failure predicting sign detection probability by site in the maintenance system, or the like. The risk evaluation means 3 uses the data collected with the information collection means 2 to calculate the amount of damage and failure sign oversight probability by site at the occurrence of failure, and based on the failure rate by site, the amount of damage and the failure sign oversight probability at the occurrence of failure, calculates the risk by site. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
