FIELD: fiber-optical communication lines, optical cables for aerial or ground laying. ^ SUBSTANCE: optical cable includes several layers of power filaments twisted together around common axis, their external winding is encapsulated by outer sealing sheath and optical modules placed between them and containing optical fibers encapsulated in proper protective jacket. Adjacent layers of power filaments demonstrate spiral winding of opposite direction. Insulating film is put between adjacent layers of power filaments. Optical modules are positioned with clearance in grooves formed by power filaments and are limited by corresponding insulating film. Clearance is chosen depending on conditions of possible thermal and mechanical deformations of power filaments and protective jacket of optical cable and is filled with elastic hydraulic insulating filling agent. ^ EFFECT: enhanced specific transmission capacity and operational reliability. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
