PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply management system capable of reliably controlling the power supply for apparatuses even when an OS of the apparatus is in an uncontrollable state.SOLUTION: There is provided a power management system including: a power supply unit that determines electric power to be supplied to an apparatus which is connected to an USB port and supplies the electric power determined via the power line of the USB to the apparatus; and a power control unit that controls to stop the electric power supply via the power line after a predetermined period of time has elapsed from an issuance of an instruction to turn OFF the power for the apparatus via the power line responding to the instruction to stop the power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
