PURPOSE: A method for making Korean font through a structure-oriented step is provided to make various fonts by receiving the minimum input from an operator through an automated method while using the existing basic grapheme template for making fonts as it is. CONSTITUTION: A method for making Korean fonts through the structure-oriented step includes the steps of making a font corresponding to each Korean grapheme by determining a structure and a form of each Korean grapheme and making a glyph graph, making the glyph graph by each Korean character by compounding graphemes according to compounding rules of Korean using the made grapheme fonts and changing the size and position of the graphemes, and making Korean character fonts by applying a predetermined thickness to a route of strokes constituting the glyph graph of each character according to position.
