PROCESS FOR PRODUCING BETA-GLUCAN AS ELICITOR FROM WASTE BREWER'S YEAST BY USING HYDROCHLORIC ACID(HCl) AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A process is provided to extract beta-glucan as an elicitor from waste brewer's yeast by using hydrochloric acid(HCl) and the use of the beta-glucan is provided. CONSTITUTION: The beta-glucan as an elicitor is produced from the waste brewer's yeast by a hydrolysis at a temperature of 85deg.C in a concentration of 0.5M for 40 minutes by using the hydrochloric acid(HCl) instead of trifluoroacetic acid(TFA) as a hydrolysis solvent. The beta-glucan is used for environmental agriculture to reduce the use of agricultural medicines.
