摘要 PURPOSE: A binder fiber using one copolymerizing component having a high crystallinity and simultaneously another polymerizing component causing a glass transition temperature to become 40deg.C or more is provided. It maintains adhesion strength even at high temperature(100 to 130deg.C) without causing deformation at a temperature below the melting point. CONSTITUTION: The binder fiber is made by conjugating copolymerized polyester as a sheath component and a regular polyester as a core component. The copolymerized polyester is a copolymer obtained by copolymerization of an acidic component comprising dimethylterephthalic acid or terephthalic acid, and 1 to 10% by mole of dimethyladipic acid or adipic acid and a diol component comprising ethylene glycol, 1 to 20% by mole of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol and 30 to 50% by mole of 1,4-butanediol, based on the ester mole of the copolymerized polyester.
