PURPOSE: A TFT array panel for X-ray detector and a fabricating method thereof are provided to simplify a manufacturing process and reduce a manufacturing cost by forming an interlayer dielectric with photosensitive organic materials. CONSTITUTION: A gate line having a gate electrode is formed on an insulating substrate. A gate insulating layer(140) is formed on the gate line. A semiconductor layer is formed on the gate insulating layer. A data line(171) is formed on the gate insulating layer in order to define a pixel region. A drain electrode(175) is formed on the semiconductor layer. A common signal line(174) is separated from the data line. The first pixel electrode(191) is connected to the common signal line. A protective layer(810) is used for covering the first pixel electrode. An interlayer dielectric is formed on the protective layer. The second pixel electrode is connected to the drain electrode.
