<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is made low in cost as a whole and is provided with a backlight structure. <P>SOLUTION: The backlight installed on the rear surface of a liquid crystal display panel is constructed so as to make a light guide plate part GLB integrated with a nearly frame shaped mold frame part MLD, inside four edges of the mold frame part MLD with two-color molding. Further, between an inside of at least one edge out of the four edges of the mold frame part MLD and the light guide plate part GLB, recessed parts AV1, AV2, AV3 to house light emitting elements LED1, LED2, LED3 and to introduce light from the light emitting elements into an inner part of the light guide plate part are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
