PURPOSE: A method for setting an alarm mode of a mobile terminal is provided to combine various alarm modes according to user's selection and inform the user of receiving of a call in the combined alarm mode. CONSTITUTION: With a mobile terminal turned on(S101), a user pages a main menu, selects an item for combining the order of alarm modes according to user's selection from the menu items, and sets an alarm mode in desired order(S102). When a call is received(S103), the alarm mode as set is driven to inform the user of receiving of the call(S104).
