<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the falling of the temperature of a battery when an engine stops. <P>SOLUTION: Batteries 5 and 10 are arranged behind a rear seat, and the air conditioning wind from an air conditioner for a vehicle is guided around the batteries 5 and 10. When the outside temperature is at a prescribed value (0°C) or below when an engine stops, a compressor 21 and a cooling fan 30 are stopped, and an air mix door 33 is rotated to a full hot position. An intake mode is switched to an inside air circulation mode, and a air conditioning mode is switched to a deflector-foot mode, for a water pump 28 to be intermittently operated. When the temperature of an engine cooling water is higher than an outside temperature by at least 10°C while the temperature in a cabin is higher than the temperature of cooling water, a blower fan 31 is operated.
