The bag comprises a tubular piece (1) and a channel on the inside, which is formed by a tab (1') protruding from the upper edge (4) of the tube. The tab is folded about a central axis which is coincidental with a line (2) extending parallel to the central length axis of the tube and folded about two slanting lines (3) extending from the inner corners of the tab on the upper edge of the tube to a point where they meet on the line extending parallel to the central length axis of the tube. A rigid joint connects the tab side edges (7) to the corresponding parts of the upper edge of the tube. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for making the bag, by cutting the tubular piece with a tab at one end from a tube, folding the tab inwards along the central axis and slanting lines described above and welding the upper edges of the tube together and to the tab side edges. |
