PURPOSE: A horizontal food mixer is provided to exchange and clean the agitating blade shaft and the bearing conveniently, and to agitate material for food sanitarily by simply connecting and disconnecting the power extraction shaft of the driving unit from the input shaft of the food agitating unit. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal food mixer is composed of a food material agitating unit(A) protruded backward from a food storage tank, and a driving unit(M) having a power extraction shaft placed from a driving box corresponding to an input shaft(66) of the food material agitating unit. The input shaft of the food material agitating unit is electrically connected and disconnected from the power extraction shaft of the driving unit by a coupling(120). The agitating blade shaft is extended in the food storage tank opened in the upper part, and the input shaft is formed in the front of the agitating blade shaft.
