FIELD: production of material for means of individual protection. ^ SUBSTANCE: piercing-resistant material containing at least one layer with thickness D, consisting of two layers of fabric joined by an adhesive substance. The first layer consists of the first set-up of threads, containing 3.5 to 20 thread/cm, with a linear density of at least 210 dtex making up at last 65 per cent of the fabric mass, and the elemental threads make up threads with diameter F1, and of the second set-up of threads, containing 0.5 to 16 thread/cm, with a linear density of at least 50 dtex. The second set-up of threads is positioned at an angle of >0 to 90 relative to the first set-up of threads, and the relation of the quality of thread/cm in the first and second set-ups exceeds 1. Similarly the second layer of fabric consists of the first set-up of threads, containing 0.5 dtex, and of the second set-up of threads, containing 0.5 to 16 thread/cm, with a linear density of at least 210 dtex.
