PURPOSE: A device for inserting/removing a contact lens into/from the eye of a user is provided which is effective and easy to use, and prevents dust or foreign matter from being induced between the contact lens and the eyeball due to use of fingers, making the inserting and removing steps of the contact lens more sanitary. CONSTITUTION: The contact lens insertion and removal device(7) comprises: a pair of arms(10) connected with each other by a pair of rotational axes(17), each having an extending portion(31), and approaching or separating from each other; an eyelid supporting portion(33) provided at a free end of the extending portion(31) and retaining an upper eyelid and a lower eyelid; an actuating unit(40) provided between the arms(10) and having one end on which a contact lens is placed; and a pair of links(55) mutually connecting the pair of arms(10) and the other end of the actuating unit(40) and allowing the actuating unit(40) to elevate according to rotation of the arms(10).
