PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally select merchandise according to a user's environment by determining compatibility between user's environment information and the merchandise purchased.

SOLUTION: An environment input screen presenting means 14 of a server device 1 presents to a customer's terminal device 2 an environment input screen inputting the customer's environment information to a merchandise information DB 11. The customer's environment information inputted to the environment input screen is stored for each customer. A merchandise compatibility determining means 16 determines compatibility between merchandise information stored in the merchandise information DB 11 and the customer's environment information stored in the customer's environment information DB 13. Information for determining the compatibility is retained in a compatibility information DB 15. When the merchandise compatibility determining means 16 determines that the merchandise information does not match the customer's environment information, an alarm sending means 17 sends alarm information to the customer's terminal device 2.
