摘要 A feed pipe (A) supplies granular solid particles in a dense phase under gravity. An upwardly inclined transfer pipe (B) connects the feed pipe to a pneumatic transport pipe (C) with inlets (3, 4) for a primary gas to transport the particles in a diluted form. A secondary gas is injected into the transfer pipe at its junction with the feed pipe at an angle to the feed pipe particle flow - The transfer pipe is inclined to the vertical by a non-zero angle less than 90 deg. for a rising circulation of particles and contains means (17, 18) of injecting a secondary gas with a direction of injection forming an angle with the direction of flow of the particles in the feed pipe at the level of its junction with the transfer pipe. There are also means of controlling the flow of the secondary gas. The feed pipe opens into the transfer pipe by an opening (11) at the point of an abrupt change of direction. At least part of the means of injecting the secondary gas are placed opposite the opening, with a direction of injection opposite to the direction of flow of the particles in the feed pipe, forming an angle of at least 120 deg. with the direction of flow in the feed pipe. The inclined transfer pipe has a straight main part (20) connected downstream by a bend (7) to the pneumatic transport pipe. The straight main part has an angle to the vertical of between 10 and 50 deg. and has an increasing section in the direction of flow. The upper end of the straight section is connected to the pneumatic transport pipe by a bend. The means of injecting the secondary gas are orifices or nozzles fed with secondary gas through a chamber and are placed at several levels in the transfer pipe. They are placed at the bottom of the flow zone of the solid particles, under or opposite the opening by which the feed pipe is connected. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is made for a method of using such a device by supplying solid particles continuously through a feed pipe, injecting a secondary gas into the inclined transfer pipe to accelerate the solid particles upwards to a pneumatic transport pipe and introducing a primary gas into the pneumatic transport pipe to carry the particles in a diluted form. The particle flow is controlled by altering the secondary gas flow.
