<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece with a built-in antenna capable of preventing the decline of antenna characteristics, and miniaturizing the timepiece easily. <P>SOLUTION: This electric wave correcting timepiece 1 is equipped with an exterior case 9 and the antenna 21 arranged in the exterior case 9. Assuming that the shortest distance of metal parts of the antenna 21 and the exterior case 9 is W1, values of the length and the sectional area of a core are L and S respectively, and A is a prescribed constant, the antenna 21 is arranged on the position defined by W1>A×L/S. While suppressing decline of reception sensitivity of the antenna 21 by setting the arrangement position according to directivity of the antenna 21, the antenna 21 can be arranged close to the case 9, and the decline prevention of the antenna characteristics and the miniaturization of the timepiece can be realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
