<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a battery at a charging voltage not lower than a prescribed voltage even if a no-wind state continues for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: This power supply device comprises a battery 4 of which the charged power is used for the operation of a variety of apparatuses; a generator 19 that converts wind energy that is one kind of natural energy into electric energy, and charges the battery 4 with power composed of the electric energy, and a rectifying part 32; an auxiliary charger 7 that can charge the battery 4 with auxiliary power; and an auxiliary charge processing function for an auxiliary charge operation part 44 that monitors the charging voltage of the battery 4, and permits the auxiliary charger 7 to charge the battery 4 with the auxiliary power when the charging voltage is lowered below a first prescribed value, and for an operation processing part 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
