摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein conventional wind power generators are low in their power generating efficiency because a wind mill ceases to rotate when the wind is weak, and the construction of the wind mill is complex because it is necessary to prevent the wind mill from fracturing by a strong wind, and also conventional wave power generators are low in their power generating efficiency when up-and-down movements of natural waves are small, and the wave power generators can be used only in limited places such as the sea or a lake having a wide water surface. <P>SOLUTION: Vibration is induced in a liquid contained in a tube by sending winds to the surface of the liquid and kinetic energy of this liquid is converted into electric energy, enabling generation of electricity. Moreover, self-excited vibration of the liquid is also induced by adjusting the timing of wind power to the natural vibration cycle of the liquid in the tube, and so power generation efficiency can be enhanced by increasing the vibration amplitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
