<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, capable of controlling an operation to document data read according to essential requirements of each page by managing the requirements for a document by each page. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an identification information read means for reading identification information by each page of the document; an operation essential requirement selection means for selecting the operation essential requirement designated by the identification information; and an operation control means for controlling the execution of a prescribed operation, according to the one operation essential requirement or more selected by the operation essential requirement selecting means. The apparatus includes a page information management table for storing the operation essential requirement by each page of the document, and the operation essential requirement selecting means stores the operation essential requirement, corresponding to each page of the document to the page information management table, and the operation control means reads the operation essential requirement from the page information management table and controls execution of the prescribed operation, in accordance with the operation essential requirement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
