<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase enzyme, and to provide a gene of the same. <P>SOLUTION: A new amino acid sequence and a nucleotide sequence which encodes the sequence are provided, respectively. Further, a variant of the new sequence, a homologue thereof, a fragment thereof, and a derivative thereof are provided, respectively.
