A device for identification of slippage or skid of wheel pairs of a vehicle has for all driving wheel pairs the units of calculating the dynamic force, each of which contains the sensor of frequency of revolution of the traction engine connected with one of the inputs of additional adder, another inlet of which is connected to the output of integrator, the current-sensing device of the armature of traction engine, output of which is connected with one of the inputs of the multiplication unit, another input of which through the unit of calculating the magnetic flux is connected with the output of the current-sensing device of the excitation of traction engine. The device is additionally provided for the unit of calculating the cohesive force of the wheel pair, one input of which is connected to the output of the sensor of axial load, and the output - to the third input of adder, by the unit of calculating the linear speed, inputs of which are connected to the output of each sensor of the frequency of revolution of traction engine, and the output - to the second input of each unit of calculating the cohesive force of wheel pair in allunits of calculating the dynamic force and by the unit of calculating the resisting force of motion.
