<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for a vacuum cleaner which can surely remove caught dust and dirt. <P>SOLUTION: The pleat-like filter 41 is integrally provided with a flexible frame 42 which holds the pleats shape of the filter 41 and can be deformed. Thus, filter groove sections 41b are expanded by deforming the filter 41 together with the flexible frame 42, and dust and dirt accumulated in the filter groove sections 41b can be removed.
