ORGANIC HALOGEN COMPOUND DISCHARGE DECOMPOSITION APPARATUS AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic halogen compound discharge decomposition apparatus not affecting to the atmosphere side even if a gas flowing in a discharge tube flows out by damage of the discharge tube.

SOLUTION: The organic halogen compound discharge decomposition apparatus is provided with a discharge tube 4 in which the gas containing the organic halogen compound flows and thermal plasma by a micro wave is formed at the inside; and a cavity arranged so as to surround the discharge tube 4 and determining electric field distribution of the discharge tube 4 and decomposes the organic halogen compound flowing in the discharge tube 4 in the thermal plasma. The apparatus is characterized in that a micro wave permeation pipe 24 formed by a micro wave permeation material is provided between the discharge tube 4 and the cavity 25 so as to surround the discharge tube 4.
