<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image data having satisfactory color reproduction to an image forming device without being influenced by color characteristics of each image forming device such as a printer. <P>SOLUTION: A BEP controller 628 transfers color patch data to a high-speed printer 746. The high-speed printer 746 prints a color patch on the basis of the color patch data. When applying colorimetry to the color patch, a colorimeter 780 transmits colorimetric data indicating a result of colorimetry to the BEP controller 628. The BEP controller 628 compares reference data with the colorimetric data, and corrects a four-dimensional DLUT 626 to suppress fluctuation for a color having a large fluctuation.
