<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing small ferrite cores in a way that core damage can be suppressed, burr can be fully removed and performance deterioration and/or variations can be can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: This ferrite core manufacturing method comprises a process for heat-treating a compact including MnZn ferrite powders and a process for removing burr on the heat-treated compact.
