<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily estimate a taxi fare between two arbitrary points by using only a speaking function of a telephone set which a taxi user has, and to fix a fare when occasion demands, to accept an order for taxi dispatching. <P>SOLUTION: A call from a taxi user is terminated in a CTI server, and telephone numbers of a departure point and a destination point are received and are converted to location information to compute the most suitable route between two points to calculate an estimated taxi fare, and they are reported to the user by automatic voice guide. Furthermore, it is confirmed whether a taxi company intends to dispatch a taxi for the estimated fare of the server, and then an order for taxi dispatching is accepted after presenting not the estimated fare but a fixed fare to the taxi user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
