<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shortage of hot water by carrying out control of reducing an operation frequency of a compressor when frost formation to an evaporator is detected, suppressing progress of the frost formation to the evaporator, and continuing hot water supply operation. <P>SOLUTION: A heat pump cycle 10 is provided by connecting the compressor 11, a heat exchanger 12 for hot water supply, an expansion valve 14, and the evaporator 15 by piping. A frost formation state detecting means 73 is provided for detecting a frost formation state of the evaporator 15. Since the operation frequency of the compressor 11 is determined by the frost formation state of the evaporator 15 detected by the frost formation state detecting means 73 and a hot water supply load, and the control of reducing the operation frequency of the compressor 11 is carried out when frost formation to the evaporator 15 is detected, progress of the frost formation to the evaporator 15 can be suppressed, and shortage of hot water can be prevented by continuing hot water supply operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
