An assistant pedal system (10) is used for assisting a child in playing a piano (11), and includes a frame structure (10a), an assistant pedal mechanisms (10b) movably supported by the frame structure (10a); the assistant pedal mechanism (10b) has assistant pedals (13) on a plate serving as a foot rest (16), and pushers (18) are provided for depressing pedals (12) of the piano (11); the assistant pedals (13) are connected through flexible cables (47) to the pushers (18) so that the flexible cables (47) automatically change the routes between the assistant pedals (13) and the pushers (18) depending upon the distance between the frame structure (10a) and the assistant pedal mechanism (10b); the flexible cables (47) make the preparatory work before the performance easy. <IMAGE> |
