<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mediating apparatus, a photographing apparatus, and a mediating program which are capable of updating and adding information in the processor by mediating information between a processor for performing data processing according to information which defines contents to be processed such as a processing pragram, parameter, and the like and a stored party of such information. <P>SOLUTION: The processor 200 is provided with an infrared ray communication part 136 for instructing performance of data processing whose contents are decided to be specified contents and an information acquisition part 133 for acquiring a processing definition defining the same contents as the specified contents from a server 300 which stores a plurality of kinds of processing definitions. Of the processor 200, an inquiry concerning whether or not the processing definition for defining the same contents as the specified contents is stored is made by an inquiry part 137; when, as a result of the inquiry, the processor 200 does not store the processing definition, the processing definition acquired by the information acquisition part 133 is transmitted to the processor 200 by the infrared ray communication part 136. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
