<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan with an air guide device and an enlarged portion for preventing the generation of noise while improving the defects of a remaining allowance, achieving speed reducing and flow straightening effects. <P>SOLUTION: The fan comprises a case having a columnar channel. The columnar channel has two ends each including a frame forming an air inlet and an air outlet, a motor base installed in the case, an impeller installed on the motor base, an air guide device installed between the case and the motor base, and at least one enlarged portion installed in the air inlet or the air outlet for increasing the flow-in/-out area of an air flow and connected to the case.
