<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a high-quality color filter which hardly causes color irregularity and film thickness unevenness used with an ink jet method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing color filter comprises: a step of forming a partition wall for forming a colored layer on a transparent substrate; a process of inspecting the partition wall; a process of ejecting ink by using an inkjet method onto an area surrounded by the partition wall to form the colored layer; a process of applying an overcoat material on the substrate; and a process of inspecting an applied overcoat layer, wherein inkjet ejection conditions are adjusted on the basis of results obtained on the partition wall inspection process and the overcoat layer inspection process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
