1. A vehicle heater control device comprising:
a circuit assembly unit with a plurality of external contacts; an external receptacle for receiving an external plug for establishing an electrical contact with the plurality of external contacts for connecting the control device to a vehicle wiring system; and a circuit assembly unit housing surrounding the circuit assembly unit and comprising an external receptacle tunnel extending from a first housing section of a first housing part of the circuit assembly unit housing surrounding the external receptacle in the entire section over which the external receptacle extends starting from the first housing section.
