Experimental flotation cell - testing small batches to establish parameters for ind treatment

In the flotation plant, small, trial batches e.g. 10-15 l of polluted liquid are treated in order to establish by extrapolation the optimum control parameters for flotation treatment on a full-scale, continuous basic of polluted effluent from industry. The plant comprises a pressurised receiver in which compressed air is dissolved in water which is then introduced into one or more flotation cells to promote flotation of flocculated sludge to purify a polluted trial batch. Many small batches can be treated rapidly to establish correct conditions for ind. scale treatment.
