FIELD: data protection.SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for safe transmission of outbound traffic containing confidential information over a wireless network including a wireless access point that is used to transmit outcoming and incoming traffic with inbound traffic control and determination of the type of traffic transfer protocol; if the type of the protocol is determined unsafe, the structure of the obtained data in the incoming traffic is analyzed to define fields which indicate the possibility of entering confidential information, with subsequent formation of samples of certain fields; detecting an attempt of transmitting confidential information via an unsecured network in outcoming traffic, at that only the presence of change in the field, for which the sample is formed, is determined; determining the type of network resource using the information on the matched sample; selecting the method of safe connection based on the type of the network resource onto which confidential information is transmitted using the rules of selection, which are formed according to the types of network resources.EFFECT: technical result consists in preventing leakage of confidential information during transmission via a wireless network.21 cl, 4 dwg |
