Roll grinding machine includes a projector for displaying the roll working profile on a ground glass screen fitted with adjustable sensors on which the light of the projected picture may become incident. The sensors are pref. photoelectric and are part of a warning or grinder cut-out circuit, and permit semi-automatic working.
