<p>Impact type powder/granule flow meter comprises a horizontal detecting plate having an upwardly inclined surface. Freely falling particles strike the surface, urging the plate downwards, and a parallelogram linkage connected to the plate ensures that the plate moves vertically downwards without tilting. The parallelogram linkage consists of a pair of horizontal parallel bars pivotally connected at one end to a vertical support and at their other ends and to a T-shaped member fixed to the detecting plate.</p> |
