The two rafters are fixed to the ends of the binder which is between them by means of a nut and screw onto two plates in the shape of parallelograms with two ends bent out at right angles to go through the rafter and binder. The two rafters rest against each other at the apex cut to the reqd. angle and are joined by a further cross member. The rafters and binder are quickly dismantled and folded for transport and erection at another site.
