The blank forms a unit which is rigid, easy to carry and low in cost. The operation can be completed in advance or at the point of sale. The blank made in one piece (1) from corrugated or ribbed cardboard and divided by fold lines (2, 2', 3, 3') into five sections (4, 5, 5', 6, 6'). Tabs (10) formed by incisions (9) in each outer section (6, 6') come together to constitute the carrying handle, after folding to a rectangular shape. One inner section (5') has three equally spaced holes (7, 7', 7") which fit over the necks of the bottles and the whole assembly is the enveloped in a plastic film wrapping.
