Evaporative air humidifier - Pumped evaporative air humidifier

Evaporative air humidifier has a pump for water from a container through a riser pipe into a water-distributing trough just below the cover of the housing, and a fan to blow air through upper openings of the housing and suck in air through an evaporative filter that extends downward from the the trough. The air enters through lateral openings of the housing. The outer edge and inner edge of the trough, which is open upward, are of equal height. The cover of the housing carries a covering sealingly abutting the two edges of the trough. The evaporative efficiency is increased, w.r.t. both complete passage of all the air from the fan through the filter.
