<p>Biosynthesis of vitamin B12 is new in which must is prepared from cleaned tubers of manioc (8-10 min cooking), milled and hydrolysed with acid under a pressure of 3-4 kg, the juice obtd. being neutralized after clarification, the must being fermented with Bacillus megaterium, Propionibacterium shermanii, P. freudenreichii, Streptomyces griseus, S. olivaceus of S. rimosus. Cheap, economic process is provided.</p> |
