The sides are identical and joined together by spacer bars (23). The upper portion (13) of each side provides a rectangular compartment for the cards or files, having a sheet metal bottom and sides (21) and the top is closed by a roller shutter (20) running in grooves. Rails (16) are provided for retaining the files. Underneath this compartment, each sides is extended to form a pedestal terminating in a smaller rectangular portion (12) forming the foot. This is enclosed by a cover (22) and cavities (18) are provided for fitting a castor each end. The shutter can be opened for access from either side, or pass underneath (17, 17a) to fully open the compartment.
