<p>The connecting shaped-section unit pref. of extruded plastic, for joining two edges, in window glazing comprises two shaped battens, one with a groove for one of the edges on one side, an arm on the other side overlapping the other edge, and an anchoring groove into which a base component on the other batten can be locked: this second batten also has a retaining part pressing the second edge against the arm: there is a hook on the inside of the base component, and a notching projection on the fitting flank of the anchoring groove. Here this projection is also in the form of a hook, while the base component has support surfaces on the outside running across the line of insertion, likewise the bounding shank of the anchoring groove. The two sets of support surfaces act together, and have a slope or deformation checking their mutual displacement across this line.</p> |
