The cassette is in two parts: a housing 4a which contains the lock mechanism and which completes the end face 2b of the door and a control or handle part 4b which houses a pivoted handle 5 in a recess 4c and which completes the front face of the door. When the door is closed, a keeper 8 enters a notch in the housing 4a where it is entrained by a biforcated latch bolt 10. There is a lock 6.
