<p>The vehicle is fitted with a central hydraulic system for brakes, accessories and steering. To utilise the high pressure supply for steering servo, without overlarge forces on the servo, a special servo piston is provided. This has a bore in the bottom to slide over a piston which is rigidly attached to the bottom of the servo housing. The second piston surface is designed to act against the main servo force and thus to modulate the main servo force. The system is simple and requires no further modulation of the hydraulic supply.</p> |
