<p>The terminal connector for barrery connects to housing and consists of a slit terminal cap (17) with a hole (22) which fits around the terminal pole (18) of the battery. The terminal cap has a protrusion (24) which can be freely connected to a battery cable (27) so that the cable is mechanically and electrically connected to the terminal cap. The connection is via a circular support surface (23) on the cap which extends in the radial direction of the protrusion, forming an enveloping housing section (10). The housing has an opening (13) which fits over the battery terminal pole, with adjusting being provided by a slit. Proper contact is ensured by a tightening bush (32) with external thread. The cap is fitted with a flange which lies between the protrusion and the hole which fits around the battery terminal.</p> |
