<p>Contact part consisting of Ti is used in prodn. of an electrical contact part having a surface area electroplated with an Au layer. Parts are used in electrical engineering as contact elements of plug devices, e.g. as contact springs, knife switch prongs, terminals, fixed and moving contacts of switches, as contacts of relays and as connecting parts. Contact part has electrical properties comparable to those of a massive Au contact part, but has superior strength.</p> |
